u/14B vs Bellville - Stellenberg was in total control of this game. The team placed a winning score on the board of 139 runs without loss. Oppertunity for various batsmen were provided to get time at the stumps: R Liebenberg (25), C Willemse (27), J Thomlinson (24), C Wessels (26). Bellville lost all ten wickets after 94 runs. J Hendrik took 4 wickets, R de Klerk 3 and D Hoffman 2 wickets respectively. Stellies wins by 45 runs.

o/19A vs Bellville - Hierdie ook 'n wedstryd wat tot op die einde geveg moes word vir 'n oorwinning. Albei spanne het goeie veggees getoon en is albei uitgeboul tydens hulle kolfbeurte, maar op die einde het Stellenberg dit deurgetrek. Stellies plaas 'n teiken van 201 op die telbord met 'n stewige kolfbeurt van 83 lopies deur Matthew Duncan. Bellville volg op en is uitgeboul in die 47ste beurt vir 191. Danie Visser het koning gekraai hier met 4 penne vir 29 lopies in 8.5 beurte.
o/19B vs Bellville - Bellville neem eerste stelling in voor die penne vir hule kolfbeurt en teken 84 lopies aan in 29.5 beurte. Na die ete breek, bereik Stellenberg gemaklik die wenteiken in die 27ste boulbeurt met die verlies van 4 paaltjies. Die openingspaar het beide dubbelsyfers aangeteken - Louis Trichardt (40 lopies) en Timothy Fairbairn (20 lopies).
o/15A vs Bellville - Die span van Bellville het behoorlik ingeklim onder ons boulers. Na 276 lopies was almal terug in die hut met al die penne plat. Twee 50-talle is aangeteken. Stellenberg kon slegs 102 lopies aanteken met Renier de Waal die hoogste telling op 24. Brandon Pugh, Karl Laubsher en Schalk Carstens kon dubbelsyfers aanteken. Bellville wen gemaklik met 174 lopies.

u/14B vs Fairmont - The Fairmont batsmen were at the stumps first to set up the score board. They managed 59 runs losing all 10 wickets using 20 overs. G. Bosch took 4 wickets in 4 overs. Stellenberg chased this total, reaching it comfortably in the 15th over with the loss of only 1 wicket. The two opening batsmen set a decent total of 35 runs. A big number of extras (21) added to the total. Stellenberg won by 9 wickets - well done!

o/19A vs Bellville CC - Stellenberg wen die wedstryd 'by default'. Uitslag so bepaal deur Sarel Burger (WPNS).
o/19B vs DF Malan - Hierdie wedstryd is toe wel gespeel aangesien die oorspronklike veld van Saterdag te klein was. Wedstryd is in 'n 25 beurt formaat gespeel waartydens Stellies eerste voor die penne was en 90 lopies kon aanteken vir die verlies van agt paaltjies. DF Malan is ingestuur en almal uitgehaal vir 58 lopies. Stellies wen gemaklik met 32 lopies.
o/15A vs Fairmont - Tydens die Stellenberg beurt is almal uitgehaal vir 98 lopies in 31 boulbeurte. Dubbeltalle is aangeteken deur Brandon Pugh (13) en Darren van Aarde (11). Fairmont antwoord en behaal die wentyken met slegs een paaltjie staande. Die uitblinkers met die boulwerk was Schalk Carstens (4 paaltjies vir slegs 11 lopies) en Kristofor Collins (3 paaltjies vir 24 lopies). Fairmont wen naelskraaps met een paaltjie.
o/14A vs Fairmont - Wag vir uitslae.

u/19A vs Edgemead - Stellenberg won the toss and elected to bat. After 38.3 overs all ten wickets were down. With only two players managing to steer the innings ahead with double figures, the total 117 might have been not enough. Jean Heinlein scored 44 runs from 72 balls and Matthew Duncan made 29 runs from 59. Both players were caught and bowled by Edgemead's bowler Dean Landers. The opponents followed on after the break and excellent bowling by Nicolaas Cilliers saw their innings come crashing down. Nicolaas took 6 wickets in 9.5 overs, of which two were maidens, and only 15 runs scored from it. The opponents were all back in the clubhouse for 87 runs. Well done Stellies!!
u/19B vs Parow - Match cancelled due to wet pitch.
u/15A vs Fairbairn - This you seldom get but the match ended in a draw. Fairbairn managed 110 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Stellenberg replied, achieving to level the score with the loss of 9 wickets. Double batting figures were achieved by Darren van Aarde (29 not out), Stephan Dijkstra (15) and Kristofor Collins (10). A total of 38 extras added to the total. On the bowling front the real star for the day was Jano Nieman, taking 4 wickets for 6 runs in three overs.
u/14A vs Fairbairn - Awaiting results.
Leon van Vuuren from the Stellenberg u/15 team represented the Western Cape during the recent 4 Nations Cup in Dubai from 8 to 19 March 2011. Both the u/13 and u/15 teams won the tournament, well done!!
Leon's statistics and commentary from the team coach as follows:
Against team India - Made 22 runs facing 12 balls. Bowled 5 overs taking 1 wicket.
Against team Pakistan - Bowled 2 overs, taking 1 wicket.
Against team UAE - Took 2 wickets in 3 overs and contributed 11 runs n.o. with the bat.
Final against India - Bowled 3 overs taking a wicket.
Coach, Abe Frans commended Leon's ability as a spin bowler using the new ball to get maximum benefit from it. He managed to get rid of the danger batsmen with excellent field placements and was also the most economical bowler during the warm up matches.
Leon will add value to any school or provincial team, both as bowler and batsman - a quality player to be watched in future.
